155711_1623079749658_3237743_nHey there, if you are reading this you must be in some way curious about me, or you are just incredibly bored and reading about random people on the internet. Hopefully, it’s the first option,  so below is some relevant information on the man known as the sixth Beatle, the seventh Rolling Stone, the nine thousandth member of Menudo… Christopher Calderon.

I am a life long New Yorker, born and raised in Westchester, I have spent most of my life in the quiet river town of Ossining, you may have heard of our prison, we’re very proud of it. I attended Ossining High School and graduated in 2003, while there I was a member of the A/V club, we filmed local events and aired them on Go-TV, Ossining local TV station. I also worked as cast and crew for the high school plays.

After graduation I spent a year managing an Eckerds photo lab, I had previously done some darkroom work both in high school and in a summer camp, so this introduced me to (semi)professional photography. At the same time, I attended Westchester Community College, where I took classes in Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D modeling and animation. I also spent some time in Europe, just seeing the sites and taking in the culture.

I would later attend Full Sail University, where I studied Digital Arts & Design, graduating with a bachelors degree. There I learned even more about the entire Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Maya, 3DS Max, and Final Cut Pro. I also had the opportunity to work with other creative minds of varying disciplines, this gave me my first taste of a how a team goes about creating great things when everyone is doing what they know best.  I also had the chance to intern with a Manhattan ad agency, where I worked on campaigns for companies like Nintendo and Jose Cuervo.

Some of my other pursuits are painting, baseball, gaming,  and tinkering with computers. In my free time, I am the guild leader of a WoW guild, Free Loot Tuesdays, and I am currently working on a weekly baseball podcast called Big Apple Baseball.

I hope you enjoyed learning about me, and thanks for taking the time to check out ProjectNeoX.com.
